What happens in a consultation?

Initial consultation:

> Your personal health goals will be discussed.

 > An in depth health history will be taken through a series of questions which will address any imbalances and underlying root causes of any current health issues. 

> Assessment of your body systems which include: gastrointestinal, nervous, endocrine, reproductive, immune, respiratory, urinary, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, integumentary

> Food diary analysis and macronutrient evaluation.

> Your current medications and supplements.

> Analysis of any blood test results conducted in the last 6 months.

> A personalised matrix of your underlying issues/imbalances will be addressed.

* You may be asked to undergo functional testing by your GP or through a private lab.

* Any medical concerns will be referred to the patients GP with their full consent.

After your first appointment, you will receive:

 

> An electronic tailored sustainable nutrition and lifestyle plan unique to you (within 48 hours) To include foods, special diets, lifestyle tips, recipes, handouts on health topics/dietary changes.

> Personalized advice that you can begin to implement straight away.

> An understanding of the contributing factors of your complaints and how to manage them.

> Advice on supplements, if required.

> Advice on further testing, if required, through your GP or private labs.

 

Katie offers strategic tools and techniques to help clients achieve a more balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. After several personalised sessions, you will become well-versed at making the best food-related decisions for your health needs.

* I am fully insured and bound by the strict code of practice and ethics as set by my respective governing bodies.

 

What happens in the follow up?

These will be scheduled at 4- 6 weeks intervals after the initial consultation.  The number needed is dependent on your health status and goals. 

> A review of your personalised Nutrition Protocol and changes in health in response to the protocol.
> Discussion of any new health concerns.
> What worked/did not not work in the plan? What was challenging?
> Review of test results if undertaken.
> Questions about foods, protocol, changes in health.
> Revised plan based on progress, goals and follow up findings and results.
